A/V Installation/Support Technician

Are you a talented AV installer looking to move to the wide-open spaces and clean air of Santa Fe, New Mexico?  Constellation Home Electronics is looking to add highly motivated members to our field installation team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation, Servicing, and Troubleshooting of Audio, Video, Network, and Home Automation systems in New Construction and Retrofit environments
• Provide training to clients on the use of the AV systems
• Provide detailed reporting at the completion of service work
• Standard work hours are Mon – Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Audio, Video, and Control System installation and support
• Ability to read and understand installation plans and documentation
• Knowledge of the use of hand and power tools in retrofit and new construction environments
• Familiarity with Apple iOS products
• Knowledge of different wire types and their termination (Speaker, Category, Coax, Fiber, etc.) is highly desired
• Basic understanding of networking design, installation, and configuration
• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Windows applications, Microsoft Office, and web applications
• Must be able to work in a Team as well as by yourself
• Ability to learn and take direction, and be responsible to carrying out that direction with precision and attention to detail
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Clean motor vehicle record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of RTI and URC installation and programming
• Installation, Setup, and Configuration of Crestron systems
• Control4 and/or Lutron system knowledge and programming experience
• 2 years experience in the installation, configuration, and setup of audio, video, and control systems listed above

Any A/V Experience in items and systems outside of what is listed will not be overlooked
