Lenbrook America is on an incredible journey – to bring high resolution audio to every household through meaningful technological innovations and beautifully designed products. For over 40 years, our brands NAD (NADelectronics.com) and PSB (PSBspeakers.com) have been leaders in high-end audio, and more recently we have been turning the wireless, multi-room audio streaming market on its head with Bluesound (bluesound.com) and its operating system, BluOS (bluos.net).

As we continue to build a strong presence for our brands, we are searching for a National Accounts Specialist to help us maintain and grow the strategic sales with our national retail partners.  This role will be focused on creating brand advocates for Bluesound (and future Lenbrook products) at every retail location, strengthening local and regional relationships to ensure sell-through, and the continuing placement of Lenbrook’s assortment. This position reports to the Senior Director of Sales.

Responsibilities:

This role is perfect for someone who is proactive, organized and loves work on the road.

  • Establish and maintain communication channels with all national retail store locations to ensure the growth of Bluesound products
  • Hold regular training sessions, both formal and impromptu, at all national retail store locations
  • Collaborate, as needed with Lenbrook’s US and Canadian Tech Support Managers
  • Maintain a rolling audit of all point-of-sale Bluesound displays, assess for functionality, and effect in-field repairs/replacements as needed
  • Work with internal Bluesound Customer Service and operations teams to resolve issues of RMAs, special orders, deductions, etc. to increase sales
  • Submit weekly itineraries and write a Monthly Activity Report to Senior Director of Sales
  • Work towards the strategic goal of expanding business relationships with Lenbrook brands
  • Extensive travel - Estimated travel required will be up to 70% of monthly activity

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years retail sales / account management experience, preferably CE/CI/IT
  • Deep understanding of app-based consumer electronics products, wireless networking products, and CI/control products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create clear and precise presentations, strong communication
  • Independent and able to work autonomously in remote locations
  • Ability to travel — this position requires approx. 70% travel
  • Experience calling on BestBuy/Magnolia or other national retail chain stores desirable
  • Demonstrated aptitude to train and influence others
  • Ability to cultivate new relationships and identify all opportunities for incremental business
  • Understands how to set priorities: have a proper sense of urgency and importance
  • Independent problem solver
  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred
