Job Summary:

The ideal candidate would promote and support Intuitive AV’s mission and values. Under the general direction of the Owner, the low-voltage technician interacts with customers and other technicians on a daily basis in order to setup, install, program and troubleshoot audio visual equipment as well as participate in overall customer satisfaction.  We are primarily looking for someone with strong teamwork skills and the ability to work as a team leader to complete new wiring and equipment installs.  Wire fishing skills are a must, programming and networking skills are great but not mandatory.


Primary Responsibilities:

* Responsible for completing daily residential and commercial installations and other general job responsibilities in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.

* Demonstrates attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy of daily work.

* Helps to direct work flow and communication of customer needs, wants, issues or concerns between customer and appropriate Intuitive AV staff.

* Demonstrates initiative in providing customer service and resolving problems.

* Provides backup support for sales staff for customer service by helping customers when needed.

* Responsible for completing work order/invoice paperwork and obtaining signatures and/or payments, as needed, from customer.

* Responds effectively and efficiently to potential customers in a professional and timely manner, and maintains optimal customer satisfaction.

* Continuously assesses and responds to expressed customer needs and recommendations for improving customer satisfaction including determining un-met or poorly met consumer needs and provides recommendations to Owner when indicated.

* Take quality installation pictures (front and back) of all installations for promotional and warranty use.

* Provide demonstration of new equipment to customer and answer any questions before leaving customer.

* Consistently fills out and maintains daily vehicle paperwork and any requested installation documents.

* Responsible for overall cleanliness and organization of provided company vehicle.

* Participates in training meetings for new products and updates.

* Demonstrates an attitude of teamwork and cooperation, and uses good communication skills in interfacing with peers, staff and in resolving conflicts.

* Displays a professional appearance and practices good personal hygiene.

* Contributes to a positive company identity within the community at large.

* Abides by all company rules and policies at all times when representing the company by wearing uniform and or driving company vehicle even if after normal company hours.

Required Skills:

* Demonstrates knowledge of low voltage installations and best practices

* General working knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction as needed for post construction installations

* Demonstrates ability to work well alone and in a group

* Effective written and oral communication

* Strong planning and organizational skills

* Self motivation, basic computer and internet skills.


* Position is Salary based on skill level, knowledge and performance.

* Company Vehicle provided Lead Installer (Must have good driving record and valid GA driver’s license)

* Cell phone for business use and client communication as needed.

*Education Experience & Other:  High School diploma or equivalent required.

* Low Voltage license or other training course is excellent but is *not mandatory*

* 2 years’ experience in the home theater and/or commercial audio video industry required.

* Technician is to supply his/her own basic hand tools, screw guns for daily installations.
