The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, administration, organization and implementation of A/V integration projects. The successful candidate will be a seasoned A/V technical leader. strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and under budget will be key requirements. Responsibilities include: Provides technical advice and assistance to field personnel as required. Must have extensive experience with A/V products including but not limited to automation systems, lighting control systems, networks, A/V receivers, multi-zone audio controllers, media distribution systems, climate controls, security systems, access control systems, and other low voltage products Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans and allotment of resources for each phase of the A/V project and arranges for assignment of project personnel. Provides support to estimating and business development functions using Dtools Tracks, documents, and reports the status of all contracts/project to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and adherence to budget guidelines. Manages project budget and schedules, preparing reports to communicate progress to management and customers. Maintains open and continuous contact with General Contractor, the customer and subcontractors to ensure project goals are accomplished. Identifies and resolves customer issues and concerns. Develops, maintains, and improves design project management policies and procedures. Oversees the change order and submittals process for assigned jobs. Ensures compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Provide end user training to customers Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum requirements Significant A/V management experience, including estimating, budgeting and project management. Experience with and expert knowledge of low voltages systems including automation (Crestron, Elan, or Control 4), access control (Linear or Paxton), surveillance, security (DSC or 2GIG), audio/video (Yamaha, Niles, or SNAPAV) required. •Understanding of IP networks •Experience with Dtools. •Demonstrated effective usage of manage tools such as Microsoft Office and Project •Minimum of 12 months in current position
