Florida Smart Homes is now accepting applications for a professional full time sales associate | system designer position to join our fast growing company!


Florida Smart Homes is based in Winter Garden, Florida serving the greater Orlando area and surrounding markets. We are a high quality custom home integration company specializing in high end automation, home theater, distributed audio, surveillance, security, central vac, automated lighting and motorized shading systems. Landscape Lighting design and much more.


We are looking for motivated professionals experienced in sales within the AV|IT integration fields. This is an exceptional ground floor opportunity for a smart, driven candidate to maximize their previous AV/IT sales experience and grow with a company that rewards loyalty, hard work and longevity with our company.


You will be able to represent our exceptional high end products and services to our eager high end clientele.




Verifiable track record of successful AV/IT sales engagements


Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)


Math skills, including calculation of gross profit margins and markup.


Strong attention to detail and ability to QA own work


Tenacity, and ability to "think on your feet"


Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook. QuickBooks and Sales Tools are a plus.




Build an intimate understanding of Florida Smart Homes products and processes


Be able to effectively articulate and present our overall product and service offering


Source and close new business to regularly meet and exceed sales goals


Determine prospect and/or client needs and match products/system to meet those needs


Prepare proposals/quotes per company standards to include:


*System description and scope of work


*Accurate site surveys


*Accurate pricing at margin targets for equipment and labor


*Engineering documentation in collaboration with a sales engineer


Responsible for developing and executing quarterly sales plan to expand existing client base and generate new business opportunities.


Provide accurate and timely communication updates to the client throughout the fulfillment process.


Update and track all quotes and opportunities for pipeline reports


Participate in training and professional development activities as prescribed by management


Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and prioritization.


Must possess a valid driver's license.


Criminal and MVR backgrounds must meet company hiring criteria.
