Sales Manager

 AVAD is North America’s premier AV solutions provider - specializing in both residential and commercial integration. Led by a team of experienced professionals in the AV industry, we work closely with custom integrators and the industry’s top brands, to deliver cutting-edge integrated solutions for video, audio, lighting control, content management, networking, digital signage; plus whole-home and business automation.  We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to join our team. 

 In this role, you will be responsible for leading every aspect of the sales operations at an assigned location. The Sales Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue and profitability goals for the location.

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage location sales, ensuring business goals are met and/or exceeded by providing guidance in developing new and existing customers
  • Oversight and management of sales process, including processing of sales orders, will-call transactions, communication of sales promotions, customer service and management of associated financial transactions
  • Establish performance metrics with sales leadership
  • Communicate sales goals to sales associates, and strategize on how to meet and exceed these goals
  • Responsible for timely reporting of sales results
  • Track daily sales, and verify accuracy
  • Facilitate sales process by supporting Territory, Market, and Account Managers with follow-up on accounts, special orders and service issues 
  • Address and resolve returns and coordinate credit and replacements
  • Manage commercial sales activity to drive sales consistent with business initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to partner with the Systems Design Group to grow business
  • Partner with warehouse and operations staff, as necessary

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in consumer electronics sales, with at least 2 years of leadership or management experience
  • Demonstrated successful sales and sales leadership experience
  • Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) in order to work with both external and internal customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain highly effective and diplomatic relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers and other AVAD associates
  • Demonstrated success leading a team and developing staff
  • Strong business acumen
