Core Competencies


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and programming lighting control and shading systems (Lutron and/or Vantage Control experience is preferred).
  • Proficient in low voltage systems including audio/video wiring and principles, proper cable routing, termination, and troubleshooting
  • Fundamental understanding of line voltage and its usage in low voltage systems
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop and implement complex, multi-device solutions
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to high quality work
  • Comfortable with working independently and within a team
  • Must have experience servicing and troubleshooting new and legacy equipment. 
  • Must be able to read a wiring diagram, blueprint and schematics 
  • Experience with residential networks including how to setup whole-house wired and wireless networks, streaming content, trouble-shooting networked components, etc.




  • Pull various low voltage wiring runs
  • Run low voltage prewire in pre/post construction environments
  • Create and maintain all records and programming associated with client-specific project data
  • Document any project-specific programming to insure consistent and efficient processes
  • Label all configured devices with appropriate configuration settings
  • Setup various device configurations to include updating Firmware
  • Test proper functionality of installed equipment
  • Install and program a wide variety of lighting and shade control.
  • Notify Project Manager of any assignments not completed as scheduled
  • Respond to field technical issues as needed
  • Manage day to day programming and field support issues as needed
  • Review the following week’s schedule and verify availability of product, verify applicable programming time in calendar, notify Project Manager of any discrepancies
  • Provide feedback to Project Manager and GM on inefficiencies and recommend potential solutions
  • Ability to analyze and resolve service calls
  • Accurate and timely completion of daily paper work and weekly vehicle reports


Job Requirements:


  • Company vehicles and ladders provided
  • Available to work 8am - 5pm Monday- Friday
  • Available for minimal travel if needed
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential/commercial environment
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and high pressure situations
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and conduct in accordance with established company standards


Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to work on a ladder, carry boxes, and equipment needed to complete projects
  • Must be able to carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors
  • Have flexibility in scheduling to meet company installation production goals
